When my mom and I launched The Elf on the Shelf®: A Birthday Tradition, we were excited to embark on a new adventure with Santa and his Scout Elves. Our goal for this birthday-themed sequel was to delight the innumerable children who have pleaded with us—and with Santa—to let their elf visit more than once a year. By granting this birthday wish, we once again saw our desire to create meaningful family moments come to life.
I watched the magic unfold in my own home this year as my daughter—an avid Scout Elf enthusiast—counted down eagerly to her North Pole-themed bash and the return of our elves, Chippey and Snowflake. And even more amazingly, my mom and I watched with gratitude as all of you warmly accepted this new tradition into your homes, too.
As these Scout Elf birthday visits caught on, all of us who work for Santa asked ourselves, “How can we enhance the North Pole birthday experience for children hoping to see their Scout Elf on their birthday?”
Today, we’re excited to announce our solution—the brand new (and free) The Elf on the Shelf® Birthday Club!
Full of interactive features, this online Birthday Club gives children the opportunity to engage with the North Pole in three unique ways:
Elf Invitation Creator:Your child can invite their own special Scout Elf to join the birthday fun by using the new "Invite-My-Elf Invitation Creator." Children can design a custom invitation and send it directly to their Scout Elf at the North Pole.
Digital Birthday Greeting from Santa:When your little one’s big day rolls around, a personalized email straight from Saint Nick himself will prove to be an exciting birthday surprise.
Virtual Birthday Party:Your little one will be the guest of honor at a virtual North Pole extravaganza, full of scout-elf approved birthday fun. Children will be able to design a birthday cake, pop party balloons, light and blow out birthday candles, and watch Scout Elves disappear and reappear on their screen as they hover over them with their mouse.
Joining the party is easy: just create a parent account on our website and fill in your child’s name and birthdate—we’ll then add it to Santa’s special birthday registry. I hope that your children will be as excited as my daughter was to use these fun, interactive features to ring in her birthday with Santa and his teensy helpers!
Santa is excited to introduce the new Birthday Club Page! From this page, you can access your child’s letter from Santa and their virtual North Pole birthday party all in one place.
