A Fox Cub’s Christmas Tale Snow Globe

You'll Need:

  • Color printer
  • Card stock/paper
  • Printable
  • Paper plate
  • Clear plastic pie pan top
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Fake snow/glitter

Instructions:

  1. Print and cut out all the snow globe pieces included in the printable.
  2. Then, glue the picture of the movie scene background as well as the arctic fox cub onto the paper plate.
  3. Sprinkle fake snow or glitter over the picture.
  4. To create a 3D globe like shape and to hold the fake snow inside, spread glue around the edge of the paper plate and adhere the clear pie pan top to it. Helpful hint: You may have to trim the pie pan top.
  5. Glue the gold base from the printable onto the bottom of the plate.
  6. Finally, shake your snow globe and watch the snow fall over the movie scene. You can also tape your snow globe to a wall, prop it up against a tall object or use a plate stand to showcase it as décor.

You'll Need:

  • Sparkly gold scrapbook paper
  • Paper plate
  • Clear plastic pie pan top
  • Glue

Instructions:

  1. Cut a heart shape out of the sparkly, gold scrapbook paper and glue it onto the paper plate.
  2. Sprinkle fake snow or glitter over the heart.
  3. Spread glue around the edge of the paper plate and adhere the clear pie top to it. This will create a 3D globe like shape and hold the glitter inside.
  4. Cut a rectangular shape out of the scrapbook paper to serve as a base and glue it to the bottom of the plate.

  • Mini pom poms
  • Construction paper
  • Paper plate

Instructions:

  1. Craft a snowy scene on your paper plate by stacking and gluing cotton balls to build snowmen.
  2. Use construction paper to add hats and noses and mini pom poms for eyes and buttons.
  3. Once you’ve built your snowmen, sprinkle fake snow or glitter over them. And another element by sprinkling various sized snowflake confetti across the scene.
  4. Then, spread glue around the edge of the paper plate and adhere the clear pie top to it, creating a 3D globe like shape.
  5. Finally, print and cut out the gold snow globe base and glue it to the bottom of the plate.
  6. Give your snow globe a shake and watch as snowflakes fall just like a winter wonderland!
